Racing CareerEdit

When Jake had started out in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2008, he had a terrible 2008 season, where the majority of the races had ended in DNF's, mainly for him being involved in crashes. He didn't find success in the Truck series until 2009, where during the 25 races on the schedule, he'd won 12 of the races, and the other 13, he'd finished in the Top 10. When the season was over, he was just 15 points over second place Matt Crafton, winning the 2009 Truck Series Championship.

During the 2010 season, Jake was silent when it came to wins, but he always finished in the Top 10, and finished third in the championship standings. Same thing when it came to the 2011 season, always finished in the Top 10, and as of entering the last race of the Truck season, Jake sits third in the points standings, 8 points behind second place Nikki Fox and 28 points behind points leader Skye Edwards. For the 2012 Truck Daytona qualifying, Jake qualified sixth for the event. At lap 17 of the 100 lap race, Jake was involved in a wreck with Paulie Harraka where it left Jake's truck wrecked enough to make Jake be out of the race. He was quoted in saying that he was alright after the wreck. Jake finished in the thirty-sixth position, ninety two laps down. During qualifying for the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway, Jake qualified twelfth for the race. After the race, Jake finished eighth.

Personal LifeEdit

Jake is an only child. He didn't know his father because he left as soon as his mother Jordin had given birth to Jake.
